March 2024 Presser
Chris Hyser, Republican Candidate, Unveils Bold Vision, and Exposes Opponents' Failures:
As we step into March, a crucial month in this leap year, I reflect on a busy and impactful February filled with debates, engagements, and successful fundraising efforts. Throughout this period, I stood steadfast on my principles, never succumbing to crowd-pleasing tactics, unlike my opponents whose track record reveals a trail of failures.
It’s crucial to shed light on the shortcomings of my opponents. Despite substantial Democratic monetary support in a state dominated by Democrats, Cox fell significantly short in the gubernatorial race, securing only 1/3 of the vote. Now, he believes he can bring these stale ideas into our congressional race.
Two other candidates, Parrott and Roca, with their adherence to outdated ideologies reminiscent of past congressional campaigns, expose their inability to resonate with the diverse needs of our district. The fact that they keep trying the same thing over and over again, expecting different results, is the definition of insanity. The former “appointed” delegate, Thiam, voted with Democrats to repeal the Law Enforcement Officers Bill of Rights (LEOBOR) in 2021, seeks to perpetuate this action nationwide.
Candidate, Tom Royals, comfortably residing in District 8, claims connections to District 6 solely through his wife's origin. His reluctance to challenge “Radical Raskin” in his own district raises questions about his commitment to the constituents of District 6. It's evident that he doesn't comprehend the unique dynamics that exist from Montgomery to Garrett County. One ideology does not fit all.
As we move forward, let's prioritize a candidate who understands the distinct needs of our district, one who is not beholden to outdated ideologies (Cox, Parrott, and Roca) and who will fight for the values of Montgomery County westward through Garrett County. Join me in building a future where the voice of District 6 is heard and represented effectively.
In contrast, I am the fresh face in this race, offering innovative ideas that span the entire district. My wife and I are actively engaging in registering voters and converting Democrats to Republicans, boasting 160 successful registrations/conversions as of March 1.
In the pursuit of revitalizing Maryland's 6th Congressional District, Chris Hyser envisions a comprehensive strategy focusing on strategic economic growth, education, and preserving the unique fabric of each county. Here's a brief overview of his vision:
Job Growth from Montgomery to Garrett County:
- Implement targeted initiatives to boost job growth from Montgomery County to Garrett County, recognizing the diverse needs of each region.
- Develop industry-specific plans to attract businesses that align with the strengths and resources of each county, fostering sustainable economic development.
Expansion of Vocational and Technical Education in District 6:
- Advocate for the expansion of vocational and technical education programs in District 6 to align with the evolving job market.
- Collaborate with local educational institutions and businesses to ensure that training programs address the specific skill demands of emerging industries.
Biotech Expansion in Frederick County:
- Focus on bringing more biotech industries to Frederick County, leveraging its existing infrastructure and scientific community.
- Foster partnerships between research institutions, businesses, and local government to create a thriving biotech hub, promoting innovation and job opportunities.
Farming and Dairy Industry Expansion in District 6:
- Support and incentivize the growth of the farming and dairy industry in Frederick, Washington, and Allegheny counties.
- Work with local farmers to enhance agricultural practices, improve infrastructure, and explore markets for agricultural products, contributing to the economic well-being of these counties.
Entrepreneurship and Small Business Stimulus in Allegany and Garrett Counties:
- Acknowledge the unique socio-economic dynamics of Allegany and Garrett counties and avoid disrupting their delicate balance.
- Concentrate on fostering entrepreneurship and supporting small businesses to stimulate gradual and organic growth in these counties, preserving their distinctive character.
Chris Hyser's vision is rooted in the belief that tailored, localized approaches are essential for the success of each county within CD6. By prioritizing job growth, education, and mindful economic development, he aims to create a resilient and prosperous future for all residents of Maryland's 6th Congressional District.
I urge you to explore my website, ChrisHyserforCongress.com, and review my comprehensive action plan/platform. Unlike my opponents, I understand the diverse needs of District 6. The resounding message from our district echoes concerns about the economy and illegal immigration.
As we move forward, my commitment remains unwavering. We must close the border immediately, build the wall long and tall. The only funds that leave this country are solely for humanitarian aid until our southern border is secure. Not a penny leaves our country until our streets are free of potholes due to adequate county funding, until our children are fully funded in school, and until every veteran is housed.
"America First" is not just a slogan; it's my stance, and it will always be in my heart. Together, let's usher in a new era of leadership that prioritizes the needs of every community in District 6. Join me in building a future where our values are upheld, our borders are secure, and our constituents' voices are truly heard.
